Zette earns Mila Startup Status, unlocking funding and collaboration with the world’s leading AI institute to accelerate development of AI for the future of news.

We’re so excited to share the official press release that Zette is one of four companies that have been awarded Mila Startup Status in 2024 🚀

To expand on our partnership announcement:

The Mila Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Quebec — home to the largest concentration of deep learning researchers globally — incubates AI startups through the Mila Entrepreneurship Lab, a consortium of funding agencies, investors, and mentors that support novel developments in AI.

Zette’s status as a Mila Startup greatly accelerates our mission to revolutionize online media consumption by opening the door to funding, office space, and access to Mila’s esteemed AI research community, including a talent recruitment pipeline into our engineering team.

Cofounded by Yehong Zhu and Mo Samsami, Zette AI plans to launch a core product offering in 2024: a four-part algorithm that can recommend, summarize, interact with, and contextualize the news.

We’re looking forward to partnering with the Mila AI community to build towards our vision of becoming the new front page of the internet.
